What: Kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the Mat-Su Mammothon, a walk-in screening event hosted and sponsored by Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation at Imaging Associates in Palmer.
Alaskans are encouraged to meet their local resources and providers, learn more about screening and early detection, and even receive an on-site breast exam. Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check will be on-site to enroll individuals needing financial assistance. Free transportation is provided to and from the event.
When: Thursday, Oct. 3, 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Where: 2280 S Woodworth Loop, Palmer, Alaska
Who: This event is made possible through partnership with Glacier Surgical, Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center, Imaging Associations, Alaska breast & Cervical Screening Assistance Program and Wasilla Area Seniors.
